Our growing catalogue spans crystal knowledge and practice, personal development, spirituality, children’s literature, specialist non-fiction, music and creative media — bringing together very different works under one publishing house.

From comprehensive reference works and practical guides to imaginative children’s adventures, music and original resources, SqRoL develops projects that encourage readers to learn, explore, imagine and discover.

FROM SQUARE ROOT TO SQROL

The name SqRoL grew from Square Root of Life — an idea first developed around exploring the foundations beneath the lives we create.

As the catalogue expanded, so did the meaning.

SqRoL became more than a book series. It became the publishing house behind the ideas.

The name also carries a deliberate echo of the scroll — one of humanity’s earliest ways of recording knowledge, stories, discoveries and ideas so they could be carried forward.

That connection now sits at the heart of SqRoL Publications: taking ideas worth exploring and transforming them into books, resources and creative works that can be shared.

WHAT WE PUBLISH

SqRoL Publications develops and publishes works across a growing range of genres, including crystals and metaphysical practice, personal development, manifestation and mindset, children’s fiction and educational adventures, specialist non-fiction, music and creative media.

Our publications range from the extensive Crystal Codex collection and the Square Root of Life personal-development titles to The Gemites, Tilli’s Adventures Through-out the Lands, property publications and original music projects.

FOUNDER & AUTHOR

Sarah Davis is the founder of SqRoL Publications and the author and creator behind many of its original works.

Her publishing journey began with Positive Thinking for Life and has since expanded across personal development, crystal practice, reference works, children’s literature and creative media.

Years of working with crystals, writing, research and developing practical techniques eventually led to the creation of the Crystal Work Codex and the wider SqRoL crystal collection — while a love of imagination and discovery inspired crystal-based worlds for younger readers.

As SqRoL continues to grow, its purpose extends beyond the work of one author.

SqRoL Publications is being built as a home for original ideas, distinctive voices and works worth sharing.
